Having proven its popularity as a six-month pop-up venue set in a converted railway carriage, the Silver Bullet is now stationed more permanently in sidings across the road from Finsbury Park tube. The colourful festival mural on the wall announces its status as a music venue, & towards the end of the week the carriage fills up with revellers enjoying a mix of live bands, DJ sets & open mic nights. Expect anything from rock & roll, indie, pop, dubstep, hip-hop & electro to acoustic musical poets & storytellers. To imbibe, there’s a cheap & cheering selection of wines, lagers on tap & a few more interesting bottled brews (Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Brooklyn, Cooper’s Sparkling Ale). Worth a shot.
