You may find yourself traipsing up & down London Wall before you realise that this Benugo-owned eatery is up on a walkway – but it’s well worth persevering. Located right by the entrance to the Museum of London, there’s a lot to like about this cool, contemporary & ‘very romantic spot’, according to one loved-up reader. British produce gets a good outing on the menu (think Gloucester Old Spot pork chop with spiced salt & rosemary potatoes), although there’s also room for the likes of seared tuna salad & some indulgent puds such as chocolate fudge cake. The wine list is excellent, & the line-up of vodkas & rums would put many a trendy bar to shame. Despite a few teething troubles, this place clearly has potential: ‘with a bit more love, it could be marvellous’, notes one supporter.
