Square Meal Review of Rosa's ?

Behind that jaunty red frontage, Rosa’s turns out fresh, healthy Thai favourites at very fair prices, with service that’s perhaps a tad less smiley than at the Spitalfields original. Sit in the window – or try to snag a booth upstairs – & start with larb gai (a salad of warm chicken & puffed rice) or grilled beef with mint & chilli. Stir-fries include venison pad prik thai dam with herbs & black pepper, while spaghetti khee maow ta lae (with seafood, chilli, garlic & basil) is an unlikely alternative to gently spicy pad thai. To accompany fragrant, warming dishes such as pumpkin or duck red curry, order a side of rice – sticky, steamed jasmine, coconut or the special brown version with garlic. Casual, fun & recommended if you’re eating alone.

    Her Favourite Food :: Rosa

    More cute than swanky. Rosa’s doesn’t look like a standard Thai restaurant but this is part of its appeal. The warm inviting red exterior leads into a light timber lined room, filled with chunky wooden table, quirky red stools and low level lighting. In this way Rosa’s fulfils the requirements of being a restaurant in Soho; unique decor, cosy but small size and exciting food...
