Square Meal Review of @15 ?

Originally known as the Gresham Club, the London Capital Club is the first purpose-built, private members’ club in the heart of the City, accepting both men & women. It also sports @15 – a convivial bar & restaurant located on the lower ground floor of the Grade II-listed building. Open to allcomers, this offers food with an international stamp, spanning everything from grilled Ragstone goats’ cheese with red chard salad or chicken satay to pollock & chips with minted pea purée, char-grilled lamb burgers, & spinach tortellini with parmesan crisps. At lunchtime, there’s also a choice of daily roasts from the rotisserie (Wednesday brings leg of Sussex pork with crisp crackling, for example). Drinkers have a decent choice of beers on tap & an assortment of wines.

Welcome was as good as ever, and the service in the restaurant was very good. New waiter, started today, used my name, was very courteous, served ladies first etc. All nice touches.

Food was mixed; chicken, macaroni and kidneys were excellent. Quail was a little too small and slightly undercooked, but not enough to worry about.

Desserts were excellent, with a full range of coffees offered and taken!

Overall, the Club gives the right impression, service was very good, and I feel comfortable taking colleagues and business partners there.
