Azura at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel

Sequestered within quietly luxurious New Providence Wharf, the Radisson Edwardian Hotel is home to a sleek, ‘designer’ restaurant, bar & terrace that wouldn’t look out of place in a five-star hotel in Asia (but for the view of the O2). Smoked mirrors, dark lighting, polished granite floors & pinstripe-linen seating chime well with the international business crowd who congregate here. Expect simple grills & a well-executed menu of more creative contemporary British dishes ranging from scallops with sautéed black pudding, carrot & raisin purée to rump of saltmarsh lamb with roast garlic mash, aubergine purée & rosemary sauce. The Med also features with the likes of pea & mint risotto, but it’s back home for cheeses or Yorkshire rhubarb fool with puff pastry & ginger ice cream.
