Notting Hill veteran Julie's knows how to mix boho cool with a touch of suave sophistication – and nowhere is this more apparent than in its grand, old-school bar, with dark wood, Moorish ornaments and tasselled curtains making this much more than your everyday Champagne bolthole. A classic cocktail list keeps things simple – a porn star martini is about the only voguish option among the brambles, bellinis and kir royales. Of course, the bubbly keeps popping from a list that starts at £47 for the house fizz. Those in need of a snack to accompany their high-rolling sips can pick from a sharp bar menu – perhaps vegetable tempura with soy/mirin sauce or salt cod and butterbean fritters.
