Fifty-Five

Just off Camden High Street, this site has seen a number of incarnations over the past few years, but Fifty Five, with its killer cocktail list, looks set to be here for the long haul. Its USP is the handsome crew of barmen, who juggle a dazzling assortment of cocktails (over 150): from classic Collins & mojitos to the Apple Strudel (mint, lime, apple vodka & cinnamon sugar), plus a huge range of frozen fruit daiquiris, all manner of shooters & myriad martinis. Prices, at around £6.50 a drink, are in tune with the young, touristy crowd. Two-for-one happy hours (Monday-Saturday 6-8pm & all evening on a Sunday) crank up the party vibe, as does the loud, rocking soundtrack. Floors get sticky as the night wears on.
