This laid-back café is a welcome & homely haven among Holborn’s chain coffee shops, offering an array of baked treats throughout the day, from breakfast croissants stuffed with tomato & brie to fluffy muffins & decadently moist slabs of chocolate torte for an afternoon pick-me-up. Lunchtime sees a tempting array of quiches, healthy salads & wraps plus soups for colder months, with everything freshly made on site. Smiling staff are happy to chat over the long front counter, while two back rooms are decked out with reclaimed wood & vintage furniture. Monmouth coffee, fancy teas in pretty pots & a short list of interesting wines add to the appeal of the little goodie. There are even a few craft beers from the USA & Germany to drink in or take home.
