Indulgence Bar & Grill

Lit up in blue neon & proffering such cocktails as the brain-numbing zombie, Indulgence appears at first glance to be just another refuelling stop for Farringdon’s thirsty club-goers. So it’s a pleasant surprise to find that food, served by friendly & enthusiastic staff, is taken just as seriously as the liquid refreshments. The menu roams beyond the usual bar standards of sharing platters, burgers & Thai green curry to include Balmoral Estate venison haunch casserole & buttered snails with sautéed kale. Grilled lamb chops with triple-cooked chips also get the thumbs-up. The large semi-circular, red-leather couches in the window are great spots to see & be seen, & the basement bar (with DJ booth) can be hired out for private parties.
