You can’t keep a good pop-up down – which is why this rooftop bar/café/ alfresco art space will be back for a summer run until the end of September. Who’d have thought the sophisticated Italian tradition of the aperitivo hour would make it to a rough & ready concrete carbuncle in Del Boy’s Peckham? Order wine or classic Campari-based americano, negroni & negroni sbagliato (which substitutes prosecco for the original version’s gin) to go with aperitivi such as cured meats, grilled fish & similar antipasti. Dinner (booking advised) is available from Thursday to Saturday from a simple menu that might include lamb kofte or braised cuttlefish with garlic tomatoes; brunch is served 11-3 on Sunday. Brave the post-holocaust surrounds (particularly intimidating at night) & you’ll be rewarded with City views, a chilled boho crowd, board games & blissed-out beats.
