Clad in brilliant white throughout, with bar, ceiling, décor and tables given the achromatic treatment, the bar-cum-restaurant is made for summer dining. Seasonal menus feature the likes of prawns with chilli, coriander butter and avocado mouse – a stand-out starter – while haddock smokie with parmesan crisp is another delicious way in. Main courses range from lighter options such as mussel chowder and crushed new potato up to a heartier combination of crispy pork belly with chorizo confit and pumpkin mash. Finish up with one of the house’s speciality cocktails, served on the extensive decked roof terrace.
