Square Meal Review of The Lost Angel ?

A glamorous bar-restaurant that lights up a rather dull stretch of road, this Battersea thoroughbred from the Lost Society stable has all the touches we’ve come to expect from the group: a winsome, fanciful interior, & a collective belief by staff that customers are here to enjoy themselves. With that in mind, there’s a great list of cocktails (conjured up by skilled barmen) & a useful wine list. Food isn’t the strongest point, but the likes of fish & chips, pies, steaks & salads are perfectly adequate, well-presented & reasonably priced. More fun in the summer is the garden barbecue, which by 10pm on a Friday has become a magnet for good-looking locals. Indoors, the DJs keep the party going until 2am on Fridays & Saturdays.

    I've been to The Lost Angel a few times really and felt it was about time I shared my views! Each time I go it's completely unique and fun!! I've been there for dinner during the week and its so nice and chilled and the staff are really friendly you have a good old chat with them. I've also been on a ‘boozy’ night out with a large group of friends and the place is rocking! such cool DJ's and the atmosphere is always so good! Definitely tell your friends and get yourself down there!!! AMAZING

    just had a lush dinner at the lost angel. a friend told me to ‘like’ them on facebook and i got 50% off my bill…result!! the food was scrumptious and the cocktails delicious! our waitress was dead friendly and really helpful with my gluten free friend. i shall be back soon lost angel!!

    I visited the Lost Angel last week and it was a really excellent place to go for dinner. The service was very fast and the food was delicious. We had £20.00 for 2 courses + a cocktail deal which was great value. The decor and ambience was very quirky, me and my partner and a fab time and will definetly be booking again!

    I despised my visit to this jumped up pub – terrible table service left me waiting 20 mins for a drink when i could see the barman doing nothing and a stoned waiter dicking about… we were told the food would take ages, it did and was average. cockatil dresses and Topshop Trilbys on Battersea park rd? really? oh and its full of useless mismatched junk too!!!

    Have been to the Lost Angel twice now, once during the week for the great British pub quiz and food and once at the weekend for a friend’s party. Can honestly say what a great place it is and would defiantly recommend it to others. The staff are fantastic, top serves with really tasty food and some of the best cocktails I have tried and I like my cocktails so that says a lot. The music at the weekend it makes a change to the norm you hear everywhere with a eclectic mix that had me and my friends dancing all night (warning your feet may hurt a little the next day but it was well worth)
