Square Meal review of The Upper Deck at the London Transport Museum:
Searcy’s new café bar is more fun than a bendy bus. Set within the rejuvenated Transport Museum’s rafters, it looks the part with seating covered in retro tube-carriage moquette. The short menu includes antipasti, kofte, lamb burgers & tempura veg from £6.50, & there’s a choice of 15 wines from £15.50 to £40 for a Chablis 1er Cru. A small cocktail list features themed concoctions such as Routemaster (gin, Cointreau, lemon juice, Grenadine & raspberry purée): at £6.95, that's cheaper than a standard tube return from Covent Garden to Holborn.
