Square Meal review of Geisha:
The geography of this new cocktail bar, owned by Soho jazz club Ronnie Scott’s, is as disorientating as any Japanese shopping mall – ask for a map before seeking out the loos. The Tokyo-trendy interior, all Kabuki white, puce and violet, oscillates with coloured lights and a sea of metallic spheres dangling above a glossy elliptical bar. It resembles the bridge of a UFO but the gay crowd who flock here seem to like it. Cult DJs Tasty Tim and Princess Julia have already manned the decks and the cocktails rock. Wasabi and seaweed caipirovska; apple and lychee mojito and lemongrass and vanilla collins all at £6.50 deserve a spin. Two dozen wines start at £13 and Champagne costs £6.25 a flute.
