Incanto

We were a party of five on the way to the FA Cup final looking for a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy a good lunch before the game. We were looked after superbly, the service was first rate and personal creating a friendly , relaxed amosphere. The food was first rate and there was a great choice of Italian wines. We were made to feel as if we were extended family and enjoyed lunch so much came back for dinner after the game. Top notch people, food and ambience.

A wonderful restaurant with lovely food and very pleasant and attentive service. Decor is light and unfussy. We had a mother's day lunch here and despite being quite expensive I thought that for a special treat it was worth it. Far better than some other places I've been with fancy chefs – the food here is good enough to compete with any of the top restaurants. The venison main was just divinely rich and decadent and the chilli kale was so fresh and zingy. Truffle chips were to die for. Pork belly, sea bass and gnocci were equally rave-worthy. The processo and blood orange cheesecake was light and fresh tasting – a complete surprise. I would heartily recommend it for a special occasion.

Lovely local Italian , it was very busy when we went and a bit loud. otherwise great service, good staple food and fantastic value!

It is not often that I feel the need to write a glowing report on a restaurant. However David Taylor and his fabulous chefs along with the delightful team at ‘Incanto’ do deserve a huge applause for their continued success of the Italian restaurant on Harrow on the Hill.

From the very moment I started planning my 40th birthday party this summer, David Taylor ticked all the boxes, with listening to my wishes and soothing my worries. David managed to take away all the stresses and anxieties that I would normally feel in planning the perfect al fresco party. A level of intimacy was created in having my 40th party at ‘Incanto’, following a champagne drinks reception in my rose garden near the restaurant.

After creating a summer menu chosen with the freshest seasonal produce available, my friends had plenty to smile about on the night with the exquisite choice of fresh Italian food. The evening started perfectly with canapés, breads and fine wines which flowed in abundance all evening.

I enjoyed myself knowing my brand new kitchen was not going to be filled with empty dishes and glasses at the end of the night. I did not have to lift a finger all night, leaving me feeling further refreshed at the end of the party.

‘Incanto’ attended all of our needs even with the last minute party plans and printing of party games. The staff were impeccable in manner and worked to the highest standards we know in the industry. The personal touch was felt all evening from everyone.

A sparkle of atmosphere, a professional service, and most importantly the finest food was enjoyed by all and with no worry about cost. The quality and value of the food at ‘Incanto’ is a true gem, and well deserves to be on the top of a list of fine Italian dining restaurants in London.

I am unashamedly a fan of Incanto. Living local to it, I go on average every few weeks despite each time being a hugely masochistic experience. In a self-inflicted, pleasurable way I might add, as I simply have zero discipline when it comes to the amounts I can eat there. I tend to visit during the week for their set menu which is good value and with plenty of choice. Despite promising myself each time not to, I always start with the delicious parmesan bread fritters and Italian cured meats; virtually a meal in itself. I go there often enough to try different dishes as they roll on and off the menu with the seasons and have never been disappointed. Pastas are obviously home made and as good as anywhere I have eaten with any number of stars. The platter of four different desserts is always the highlight – I always invite friends to have it with me so as to put up a semblance of wanting to share. Staff are slick but friendly, the best combination. Already plotting my next visit.

There isn't really anywhere in Harrow that is of this quality or standard. It's a lovely restaurant, just incredibly expensive, so tend to go for special occasions.
