Restaurants in Twickenham

Just 10 miles out of central London, Twickenham is probably most famous for its rugby stadium than anything else. But the area has so much more to offer with pretty riverside walks, historic houses and an interesting island! The administrative headquarters of Richmond upon Thames, Twickenham is a large Thame side town boasting mostly tall Victorian residences. Horace Walpole’s famous Strawberry House has recently reopened to the public, whilst the nature reserve that is Eel Pie Island is home to Twickenham Rowing club. The centre of the town offers a good variety of restaurants and cafes whilst along the river you’ll find some great pub kitchens, perfect after a long stroll up Strawberry Hill!
