Left Handed Giant Brew Pub

About

The team behind Left Handed Giant Brew Pub first opened the doors to the brewpub in 2019, with the aim of creating a beating heart of fun and interaction with customers in the area. The brewpub was crowdfunded, with around 1500 people investing in this small company. The brewpub really does have a feel of community spirit about it, and the team are proud to be the custodians of a site that has over 250 years of brewing history within its walls.

If you fancy a game of something fun, venture up to the top floor. Up there, there is a games room complete with a dedicated bar, where you can play for hours - whether choosing pool or darts, and not worry about needing to go up and down the stairs to get your drinks.

The food menu is simple, but has everything you need to fill your tummy. Served between 5 and 10pm on Monday and Tuesday, and 12 to 3.30pm and then 5 to 10pm on Wednesday through to Sunday. The team doesn't take table bookings, so be sure to arrive early if you are with a big group. The menu is 100% meat free, and all of the items are available as vegetarian or vegan, so if you see meat names on the menu, they refer to substitutes. The menu starters with a classic margarita made with sugo, mozzarella, basil, grana padano and olive oil, before moving onto more unusual pizza toppings such as the tale of two dressings - a pizza topped with sugo, garlic, baby leaf salad, avocado (tossed in nooch), sunblush tomatoes, finished with garlic, lemon and herb mayo, miso, black garlic and balsamic sauce.
