Following on from its original site in Piccadilly, Le Deli Robuchon Chelsea is the second bakery to open by the renowned Robuchon brand. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as a selection of breads and patisseries available to eat in or takeaway, Le Deli is a one-stop-shop for all your dining needs on the King’s Road.
The smart but relaxed space features a wraparound deli counter serving French rotisserie chicken and fresh seasonal salads. While an open kitchen allows guests to see chefs adding the finishing touches to their expertly created pastries. For those looking to sit down and spend a little time, the bright and spacious dining room features plenty of comfortable cream leather seating, as well as marble-topped tables with stools.
For breakfast, French-inspired cooked options include eggs benedict, ham and cheese croissants and avocado omelette with caviar. Of course, customers can sample its sweet and savoury baked treats at any time of day, both to eat in or takeaway. Le Deli made a splash on social media with its ‘Le Cube’ pastry – a cube-shaped croissant filled with crème patissiere – with this site also offering the viral sensation. Choose from pistachio, vanilla and chocolate, as well as an exclusive savoury version.
For lunch, the menu includes a selection of salads, hot plates, daily specials, sandwiches and quiches, while from mid-afternoon, guests can book in to an indulgent Champagne afternoon tea. Evenings are reserved for French cheeses and fine wines, alongside charcuterie boards and bread baskets freshly baked in-house.
Finally, when it comes to the drinks, there is a concise cocktail menu featuring classic spritzes, a Coffee Negroni and Chamomile Fizz, alongside a selection of hand-picked French wines.
