That very station, since the 1960s, has become synonymous with the beloved marmalade loving children's book character, Paddington Bear. The Paddington books have been published in 40 different languages, and the sweet bear even has several of his own Hollywood movies. If you love the adorable, hat wearing bear, then pay a visit to his bronze statue that sits beneath the clock on platform 1 – the very spot where the Brown family discover Paddingotn in the first book.
