Hackney is certainly one of the most colourful, vibrant and loved parts of London. This borough is famous for its street art, pop up restaurants and epic pubs. Hackney restaurants are known for being slightly edge, but whether you eat authentic American BBQ, enjoy Caribbean rice dishes or Cuban spices, our long list caters to every kind of desire. With plenty to choose from, you simply need to streamline your choices by using the filters that are on the left hand side of the page.

This part of London is certainly relaxed, with cool around every corner, but there’s plenty of luxury, too. Hackney has been the home of many famous names from Alan Sugar and Ray Winstone to Judi Love and Maude Hirst, and plenty of musicians and artists. Hackney Marshes and Victoria Park are just some of the well loved green spaces and parks in the area, and you’ll often find an actor jogging around. Alternatively, you could easily spend a whole day in Hackney browsing antique markets, shopping for flowers and mooching in boutiques, before returning to a local restaurant for an evening of tapas and natural wines.
