Burger & Beyond has gone from strength to strength, establishing itself as one of the big players in London’s competitive burger scene. This site finds itself in Borough Yards, a more recent addition to the ever-busy London Bridge dining scene. Unlike most of the other branches, this one features an outdoor terrace.

Snack on the likes of salted chilli corn or truffle and parmesan nuts while you sip your cocktail, before moving on to the bigger stuff. Start off with a choice of smoked mozzarella sticks, fried chicken bites with pickles, vegan loaded nachos or tempura fish tacos (or visit in a group and order one of each). After these, it’s burger time. If you haven’t tried it, the fan favourite bacon butter burger is a must, featuring a beef patty, double American cheese, crispy pancetta bacon, burnt butter mayo and onion. Non-beef options include the krispie fried chicken, made with rice krispie fried chicken, miso maple butter and ranch pickle slaw, and the mushroom raclette with vegan cheese and smoked garlic mayo.
One burger is only available here: the legit truffle. This stack of decadence includes a beef patty, double American cheese, fresh black summer truffle, black truffle butter and port braised onions. An exclusive side is also on the menu: the beef and cheese crispy pancake, made with birria braised beef and Ogleshield cheese, served with lime, jalapeno crema and chipotle salsa dip. If you have any room left, finish with a ridiculously lavish dessert, like the hot Biscoff s’mores brownie and cereal milk ice cream or tres leches ice cream sandwich.
