There's nothing better than a local, neighbourhood haunt that you can rely on for great atmosphere, a crowd-pleasing food menu and in-the-know vibe. For Chester locals, Boheme is a stylish cafe, bar and restaurant that does it all, with plenty of flair.
The menu sees weekly changes in order to make sure everything served to guests is of the highest quality, and is in season. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and has been designed with the idea of guests being as comfortable as possible, and is a spot where you can enjoy stunning a la carte dishes. With a range of areas to dine, you can enjoy eating together as a large party, or opt for somewhere more intimate. The open kitchen really allows you to feel immersed amongst the creativity.
Begin your meal with XL scallops paired with seaweed, lime fingers, roe, XO and shiso, or the salt baked celeriac rose with pear, pine, walnut and creme fraiche. You'll even be able to tell where your dish has come from, like the cheese and onion quiche being sourced from Cheshire, whilst the duck parfait has ingredients brought from Exeter. When it comes to your main, enjoy the shorthorn beef fillet with short rib, roscoff and black garlic, or a confit heritage carrot paired with blood orange, salsa rustica, haricot bean and spiced granola. For your dessert, we'd recommend trying the tonka bean panna cotta with rhubarb sorbet, marigold, poached rhubarb, honeycomb and blood orange.
There are also lighter options of baked pastries and breads that are made in the on site patisserie, so you can have a smaller bite to eat with a coffee, or take something home as a treat for later. The bar is decorated with locally handmade tiles, Italian marble and brushed brass, making it an extra special spot in the restaurant. Cocktails are seasonal and signature, and come in alcoholic and non alcoholic options, using stunning ingredients and exceptional technique.
