Somerset House

Square Meal Review of Somerset House ?

An iconic former palace on the West End/City borders, Somerset House is a thriving cultural centre for London, housing the celebrated collections of the Courtauld Gallery & a series of new exhibitions year round. The ten entertaining spaces include a sweeping courtyard, which holds summer parties for 1,500, as well as riverside meeting spaces. There are also opportunities for private tours of the Embankment Galleries, Edmond J. Safra Fountain Court & Courtauld Gallery. In summer, the courtyard hosts open-air concerts & screenings, while winter heralds the opening of Somerset House Ice Rink. It is also licensed to hold weddings & civil partnership ceremonies for up to 100 guests.
