A "little gem" and an eye-opener for anyone uninformed about Argentinian cuisine, two-floor Zoilo packs them in with its "incredible" tapas-style take on the country's diverse gastronomy. Head downstairs, sit by the open kitchen, watch the chefs and feel the heat, or pitch up at the bar in the slightly mellower ground-floor space. Of course there are mighty rib-eye steaks and tasty little empanadas ("posh pasties"), but Zoilo's cool, urban setting also fits the bill when it comes to plates of punchy sea bass ceviche with chilli and preserved lemon or grilled lamb's sweetbreads supported by blood orange, criolla sauce and garrapiñada (caramelised peanuts). The wine list is a spin around the homeland, with plenty by the glass or carafe. Cheery, informed service "made the night" for one reader, while another "can't recommend it highly enough".
