lunch in the Courtyard, a dramatic, glass topped Parisian-style atrium that rises through two stories, with a mix of Mediterranean and Yorkshire dishes, typically spinach and ricotta crespelle with
formaggio sauce or a slow-braised Nidderdale lamb with mash and onion gravy. For dinner, there's a grown-up dining room of leather and crisp linen and a towering floodlit wine rack . The menu again
pits Italian against Yorkshire: mozzarella, artichoke and red pepper salad with basil pesto and Yorkshire calf’s liver and Wensleydale bacon. Pannacotta and tiramisu compete with treacle tart and
