Tina’s Tearoom: A Mouth-watering Glimpse of the Past
My wife and I could almost hear the whistle of the steam train as we walked through the door into Tina’s Tearoom.
What with the Fry’s “Five Boys” Chocolate advertisement in the corner and the warm fire against the wall, we may well have been stepping back over 100 years.
Pretty soon were enjoying our scrumptious morning scones and piping hot tea. Owner Tina served us cheerily, explaining how her modern wood-burning stove had been installed.
For olde worlde charm, a selection of top-notch food and a snug touch of the warmth of home, Tina’s Tearoom is well worth a visit. You might find yourself returning again and again.
