Energetic tango nights add to the determinedly Latin vibe at this down-home Argentinian eatery on Camden High Street. Staff actively encourage punters to strut their stuff on the floor, as well as
talking up the virtues of their homeland and its beefy cooking. An open grill (parrilla) and Patagonian clay oven (horno de campo) hold centre stage and make their mark on grass-fed Argentinian
steaks, fish and vegetables, but the menu also encompasses savoury empanadas, handmade pasta (including stuffed canelones) and desserts headlined by dulce de leche. Family photos, artwork,
ornaments and mismatched furniture fill the rustic dining room, while the floors and bar counter have been fashioned from reclaimed timbers. To drink, Argentinian wines and Quilmes beer share the
billing with traditional herb-based fernet (often mixed with Coke).
