Square Meal Review of Coquine ?

‘Ooh la la!’ indeed. Coquine’s modish baroque chairs & ceramic blue-tiled walls – reclaimed from
a London Underground refurb – reflect the affluence of those who can afford the cocktails, vintage wines or £100 bottles of Champagne racked up behind the bar of this funky & exclusive VIP lounge. Coquine (meaning ‘mischievous’ or ‘naughty’ in French) is set across two floors, & its moody basement den is packed at weekends with members of Kensington’s smart set taking advantage of the DJ booth & late-night dancing opportunities.

Rate My Bistro :: Coquine – South Kensington

Coquine is a very chic and boutique-like with its patterned walls, carpeted lightshades, huge wall mirrors and teal green decor! It has a bar area in the middle of restaurant. Secluded at the back of the restaurant is an oval table surrounded by high chairs! A nice setting for having drinks and food with a group of friends!

Sunday brunch was our visit to Coquine. To start with, we had a blueberry smoothie! A big glass of goodness made with blueberries, milk and honey!...
