in trendy BrindleyPlace. A big minimalist space with banquette seating and striking white, grey and beige colour schemes creates a bright and contemporary backdrop for some casual but well-rendered
food. There’s good value from the daily changing set menu (perhaps smoked haddock risotto drizzled with lemon oil followed by breast of chicken with pomme purée and tarragon jus), or you can dip
into the full carte for the likes of confit of duck salad, salmon and dill fishcakes with grain-mustard sauce or classic rib-eye steak with béarnaise sauce and fries. Staff are incredibly helpful,
and there are plenty of opportunities for people-watching on the alfresco terrace.
