Square Meal Review of Brugada ?

Blink and you might miss the modest entrance to Brugada, which is accessed via a narrow staircase between a pub and restaurant on a quiet side street off Bath’s main drag. Once you have climbed the stairs, however, you enter a dark and sophisticated boudoir-style cocktail bar that belies its diminutive size. Chandeliers, gilt mirrors and purple flock wallpaper create a suitably luxurious mood for the extensive cocktail list and an impressive range of Champagnes, many of which are available by the glass. Enjoy tapas and cheese platters (supplied by the Paxton & Whitfield shop downstairs) with concoctions such as the exotic, rum-based Brugada Caribbean punch (jazzed up with watermelon, pineapple and nutmeg) or red bon bons – chilli infused with vanilla sugar, strawberry and Sagatiba gold cachaça topped up with apple juice.
