Like the original on Acre Lane, this rather grand-looking new branch of Boqueria is named after the awesomely
brilliant food market in Barcelona and is noted for its authentic Spanish vibe. Grab a space at the sleek bar or squeeze into the crowded dining room for some of the best tapas in this part of
town, including a trusty selection of Iberian hams, artisan cheeses, croquetas de jamón, chorizo with cider and fried squid in alioli. Meanwhile, more adventurous palates might be tempted by pork
shoulder with foie gras, truffle purée and goats’ cheese sauce or roasted peppers and bonito tuna with romesco sauce. Wines are a patriotic Spanish bunch, with a clutch of cavas and sherries at
ridiculously cheap prices. A private VIP room with its own terrace is a bonus at this branch.
