Situated in the attic space above Café Gandolfi, this charming little bar is more than simply an overspill for the restaurant downstairs.
Steel girders and gantries hung with dangling lights blend with tiled walls, quirky carved furniture and a mighty slab of wood along the open counter, while the menu offers a similar international
spread as the Café – think seafood, pasta, salads and grills, plus pizzas at the bar. The international wine list makes a feature of bottles from Paneta in Sicily, and there are some fancy
cocktails too – try a Tuscan mule (a sweet twist involving Tuaca vanilla and citrus liqueur, Kraken spiced rum, ginger beer and fresh lime).Bar Gandolfi is also a cultural hub, with exhibitions by
local artists lining the walls, occasional literary lunches, quiz nights and regular acoustic gigs by Glasgow musicians.
