The owners of 90 Novanta hail from Sardinia and Tuscany, so expect some regional variations on the menu at this neighbourhood trattoria. A hand-built pizza oven delivers around 16 different
thin-crust versions ranging from quattro formaggi and napoletana to ‘pastore sardo’ with tomatoes, Gorgonzola, pepperoni and pecorino shavings. Also expect a raft of ciccheti nibbles to start
(octopus salad, boiled eggs with anchovies, capers and tartare sauce etc), plus an assortment of pastas including Sardinian culurgiones (‘dough pockets’ filled with potatoes, pecorino and mint) and
malloreddus with homemade sausage. Various salads, risottos and desserts such as tiramisu or tropical fruit pannacotta complete the offer. The short Italian wine list includes a few gutsy bottles
from Sardinia, kids have their own menu and the place also does takeaways and deliveries.
