Hospitality appointment at the Ryder CupKeith Prowse has announced that it will be the official hospitality provider at the Ryder Cup Europe in 2014. Held at Gleneagles, Scotland, the biennial event will take place from 23-28 September next year.

Madness at the races Surrey’s Sandown Park is hosting Madness, who will be singing from the stage at the first of the racecourse’s music nights this summer. Cirque du SoleilDescribed as ‘an adrenaline rush’, Cirque du Soleil’s new show Kooza at the Royal Albert Hall, combines spectacular acrobatics with energetic clowning and high-wire antics. Steal a KissDirected by Trevor Nunn and set to arrive in London with a summer’s worth of glowing reviews from Chichester Festival Theatre behind it, Cole Porter’s Kiss Me Kate will be The Old Vic’s first musical under Kevin Spacey’s leadership. The fast-paced show-within-a-show unites the worlds of gun-toting gangsters, sparring actors and Shakespeare’s original characters from The Taming of the Shrew. It's on until 2 March 2013.

Molecular picnics from Bubble Food Summer has officially started so make the most of it with a spot of alfresco entertaining. The molecular-inspired chefs at Bubble Food have created a picnic hamper that will put your soggy sandwiches to shame. Play Golf With The Ashes PlayersEngland and Australia will be locking horns again this year to compete for the Ashes, but between the second and third Tests on 21 July, sticks and balls of another kind will be order of the day. Stoke Park Club is hosting an Ashes Fourball golf day, where Shane Warne, Andrew Strauss, Ricky Ponting and the other players will join hospitality guests to play a round. Book for Goodwood Festival of SpeedThe Goodwood Festival of Speed from 3-5 July, is held over three days in the Earl of March’s glorious West Sussex backyard. The clue’s in the name: the seasonal menu supports local produce sourced within 25 miles of Newbury, including buffalo mozzarella from Hampshire’s Laverstoke Park and asparagus from Cobb’s Farm in Hungerford.
Henley Royal RegattaHenley Royal Regatta, held from 1-5 July, just about sums up ‘The Season’ from a hospitality perspective.
