Nicholas Mee & Co toasts Aston Martin Heritage’s first high-street showroom with Louis Roederer
On 1 February, Aston Martin Heritage specialist Nicholas Mee & Co opened a new west-London premises on the high street – a first for the brand. The launch party was attended by motor-industry insiders, Aston Martin customers and senior executives from within the company – with Champagne, of course, courtesy of Louis Roederer.

Judging the entries for this year’s Louis Roederer Wine List of the Year, organised by Square Meal’s sister title Imbibe, was an exercise in both quality and quantity, with more restaurants entering than ever before. This autumn, Square Meal’s sister publication Imbibe joined forces with one of the most prestigious Champagne houses to launch the Louis Roederer Wine List of the Year competition. After receiving entries from all over the country, from pubs to Michelin-starred eateries, the judges finally chose winners in the six categories, handing out the coveted awards to the likes of HK House Oriental Restaurant in Gloucestershire and the Cherwell Boat House in Oxford.
