Claude
Bosi’s Michelin-starred Mayfair establishment Hibiscus is seeing in the New Year with a smart facelift.
The restaurant, which moved from its original location in Ludlow, Shropshire, five years ago, has swapped its neutral palette of biscuit and grey for statement walls of timber and slate decorated
with artwork that will be updated seasonally. Accents of colour and texture will come from teal velvet and leather furnishings.
Chef-patron Bosi (pictured) has also developed a new menu for 2013 that draws inspiration from dishes served at the restaurant’s original location in Ludlow. The new three-, six- and eight-course
menus will focus on 12 market products that will change with the seasons.
Behind-the-scenes, a development kitchen has been installed next to the restaurant’s private dining room. In addition to recipe development, this space will be used for cookery classes and private
events.
