Win a cocktail party

The swizzle is a refreshing combination of rum, lime, sugar, bitters and soda. There are countless variations on this Caribbean classic, however, and El Dorado Rum wants you to submit your own swizzle recipe.

If your recipe is chosen as the best twist on the swizzle, you’ll be rewarded with a cocktail party for 20 people, held either at home or at work.

Swizzle recipes should include all of the following ingredients:

• El Dorado Rum (3 or 5 year old)
• something sour
• something sweet
• something bitter
• something non-alcoholic

It will include a swizzle stick too, of course. Originally, this would have been a branch from the swizzle stick tree (or quararibea turbinate), native to the Caribbean.

Finalists will be notified by the end of November. Entrants grant El Dorado the right to use their recipes in promotions, and must be 18 or over to enter.
