There is no V in Wodka

Wyborowa is raising its woice in support of Polish wodka and some of London’s best bars hawe already joined The Mowement

Did you know that the earliest written reference to vodka was actually found in a Polish manuscript dated 1405? The Poles are very proud of this fact. But they want everyone to know that the manuscript actually reads ‘wodka’ not vodka. The drink that their ancestors proudly enjoyed – and we are still enjoying today – is really called wodka!

Wyborowa, the most celebrated brand of Polish wodka, is now taking action to spread the word that there’s no v in wodka.

Led by Wictor Wega, the Wodka Mowement is gathering pace around the world, recruiting wodka drinkers to discover the truth about the Polish roots of their favourite drink. A host of top bars around London have already joined the Wodka Mowement. This Nowember they are showing their support for wodka in the WIP Wyborowa cocktail competition. Each bar has created its own exciting signature ‘W’ cocktail using Wyborowa – and you can show your support for the Mowement by putting them all to the test.
