Terrace at the Palace of Westminster
It doesn’t get grander than a party in the marquee on the Palace of Westminster’s riverside terrace. Previously, you’d need a tame MP or peer to sponsor an event here, but apparently change is afoot.

London Marriott Hotel County Hall
It’s all about the location… right by the London Eye and Big Ben. There are 11 function rooms and The Restaurant serves up British classics paired with (pricey) European wines for up to 120 if taken exclusively.

The London Eye
It’s become an icon that defines the capital’s skyline, but it’s also a venue for hire. You can book one or all of the 25-capacity viewing capsules with wine or Champagne receptions for £30pp. The occasion can be combined with a river cruise, or an event for up to 800 guests in the Flight Zone.

Tattershall Castle
Perhaps more low-key than other options in the area, this boat-cum-bar moored on the Thames still offers great views on a riverside setting. You can fit between 25 and 250 guests in one of its four rooms.

TS Queen Mary
This iconic 1930s steamer has long been a fixture on Victoria Embankment. It has various meeting spaces for groups from 30 to 160, and a wedding licence.

RS Hispaniola
Think trad boat, but with a latin twist. The biggest function room can fit 150 either for a dinner, dance, or stand-up reception and the ship can be hired for exclusive use with buffets, afternoon teas and lunch catering on offer.

Royal Festival Hall 
The Hall’s smaller St Paul’s and Weston roof pavilions benefit from floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies so you can breathe in the river air while soaking up views of St Paul’s Cathedral, the Houses of Parliament and The London Eye.
