Rosé Champagne for Valentine's Day

(menu)

Dom Perignon gift box flutes - LOVE_-_2_flutes_and_bottle.jpgThere’s no shortage of choice when it comes to gift-packaged rosé Champagne for Valentine’s Day. Dom Pérignon has just launched a Love gift box for its vintage rosé 1998. The pack includes a pair of striking Champagne flutes created by Swiss artist Sylvie Fleurie.

Fleurie has collaborated with Dom Pérignon in the past, creating an oversized glass for the vintage rosé to showcase its aromas. These flutes are the natural evolution of that glass.

Moët & Chandon’s Valentine’s offer, The Book of Seduction, is no less striking. Presented in a coffret box shaped like a large tome, it contains a bottle of Moët Rosé Impérial, as well as seductive games to play – a reference to the games of intrigue and romance of the 18th century court of Versailles. This is in turn a tribute to an early ambassador for the Champagne house, Madame de Pompadour, an adept of these games.

Available in premium and luxury versions, the former includes a pair of Champagne flutes, as well as a set of ‘seduction dice’. Moet coffret rose gift pack - COFFRET_LOW_RES_03.jpgThe very limited Luxury Book of Seduction is far more complex. In addition to an extra bottle of Champagne, it has hidden drawers containing other games and objects, such as a Minox Leica M3 digital camera and silver-plated straws.

The Dom Pérignon Love gift pack and Moët & Chandon premium Book of Seduction are available from retailers such as Harrods and Selfridges for £320 and £80, respectively. The luxury version of the Book of Seduction is exclusively available to Harvey Nichols. Only five are available to the UK, selling for £1,200 each.
