The Roof Terrace at No. 5 Cavendish Square

The Roof Terrace at No. 5 Cavendish Square - 'Get A Roof' from Square Meal Venues & Events Summer 2007 No.5.gifGreat for daytime as well as evening events, the Roof Terrace at No.5 Cavendish Square wraps around the top of this West End building like a horseshoe, greeting the morning sun on one side & catching the last of the evening rays on the other.

The built-in bar sits in the middle, & forms a third appealing area with its surrounding lounge furniture. Patio tables dominate the sunset side, adding further seating to a space that can comfortably accommodate 40 guests for an alfresco reception. Smaller groups needn’t feel lost either, as any of the three outdoor spaces can be sectioned off.

The one flaw is perhaps that the views don’t add up to much – the rooftops around Oxford Street aren’t exactly pretty – but the space itself is attractive & there’s something special about having access to such a generous outdoor area right in the pulsating heart of the capital.
