Private members’ club Adam Street has just refurbished its Rehearsal Room. Aptly named (as in the 50s it was frequented by actors who would use the beautiful,
cross-vaulted space to rehearse), the room is situated underground offering exposed brickwork, red leather seating and elegant wallpaper. It works a treat for small gatherings, business meetings or
screenings.
In the evening, a brand-new bar and dance floor help the room transform into an intimate party space, able to accommodate 100 for a stand-up reception. Additional facilities include a DJ booth and speaker system plus a plasma screen with DVD and satellite TV.
Several other event spaces are available in the Georgian venue, including the contemporary Gallery, the exclusive Snug and a traditional restaurant serving British fare. Occasionally the entire club is hired out, accommodating up to 350 people.
