THE EVENT: celebrating the launch of Proud Cabaret Camden in the Horse Hospital at Camden Stables
THE VENUE & HOST: Proud Camden
THE MENU: starter canapés included soup of the day with paillassou bread, pan-fried scallops on pea purée with apple and radicchio salad, beef bresaola with truffle mayonnaise and aged parmesan, chicory and pear salad with crumbed stilton and walnut dressing, and confit chicken roulade with pickled cucumber. At main, we were served pan-fried fillet steak with Chateaubriand sauce with hand-cut rosemary chips. Dessert was a fantastic Neal’s Yard cheeseboard.

THE ENTERTAINMENT: burlesque and cabaret, compered by Vicious Delicious. The dancers included Banbury Cross, Betsy rose, Annette Bette, Coco Deville, Marnie Scarlett and Empress Stah
