Bermondsey - Tower Bridge (miles
The majority of runners should reach this spot by late morning, so once you’ve waved them past, an early lunch beckons. Head to Bermondsey Street to enjoy a tapas pitstop at José or grab some wine and ham at Bar Tozino by Maltby Street Market.
Canary Wharf (miles 15-20)
As runners pass the halfway mark and zig-zag through Canary Wharf in the early afternoon, grab an alfresco drink and a bite to eat at Ibérica La Terraza or refuel at Plateau’s glass-roofed bar, with great views of the action. Alternatively, head to Wahaca's terrace bar for a good view and some great tequila-based drinks.
Embankment - The Mall (miles 25-26)
If you’re going the distance with the runners, Embankment is the place to be as they reach the final stretch of the race. Chow down on gastropub fare at The Angel & Crown not far from Leicester Square, or get even closer to the finish line at Inn the Park, a casual caff set in St James’s Park itself.
