The BRIT Awards are just a week away and anyone who is anyone in the world of pop is taking to the stage there, from long-standing groups such as Coldplay and Blur to relative newcomers including show-stopping singer Florence + the Machine and grime sensation Ed Sheeran, who’s been hotly tipped to win the Best British Male category.
Regular tickets to the event have now sold out, but nominate an ‘unsung hero’ in the music industry before 15 February and you could be in with a chance to win one of the last coveted spots at the ceremony. 2012 BRIT Awards nominees JLS, Anna Calvi, One Direction, Olly Murs and Rizzle Kicks have each nominated a member of their crew for the award; just vote for your favourite nominee via the Why Music Matters website and your vote could bag you a golden ticket.
Tickets to the event include all entertainment, plus a lavish dinner courtesy of British caterers Payne and Gunter. Their 60 chefs will dice 130kg of lamb shoulder, crack 3,000 eggs and roll 7,800 chocolate truffles for the event. So if you’re in the mood for an A-list meal with stellar entertainment, get voting. Good luck!
