The menu has lots of unusual & funky combinations. The best treat is the chef’s table, where I end up just watching the kitchen & hardly talking to my friends!
This is like an oasis away from the main bustle of London, sitting in the nursery surrounded by beautiful plants. The food is so fresh, straight from the kitchen garden. It’s all about fabulous produce cooked & served perfectly.
This is near my hometown of Scarborough & owned by an old friend, Andrew Pern. The menu uses local products: there is fish from Whitby, Helmsley pork & fresh herbs from the garden. I love going here as it has the warmth of a country pub, with a Michelin star.
