Since opening on New Years’ Eve 2009, Terence Conran’s Boundary has personified the gentrification of the East End in recent years. On a sunny day, the 100-capacity Rooftop has Hamptons-style summer party written all over it, with laid-back cocktails available that are perfect to enjoy while taking in the impressive panoramic views from Canary Wharf to the Gherkin. The space has a real poolside feel to it, with wicker furniture, low-slung tables and a Robata grill churning out native lobster and steaks by the bucket load. Private hire is by special arrangement only, so get in touch well in advance if you’re looking to book the space.
