Tucked away on the ground floor of the Kings Place
development in King’s Cross, light and airy canalside restaurant Rotunda has garnered a loyal following from
the media and arts companies based in the offices above. Its clean-lined private-dining room can host up to 24 for dinner, with access to a gorgeous waterside terrace for pre- or post-dinner
drinks. It’s a pared-back space, allowing the kitchen’s ingredients-led cooking to sing. Carnivores will be happy: all beef and lamb served is reared on Rotunda’s own Northumbrian farm, before
being aged and butchered on site. The venue also has access to a snazzy narrowboat, which collects groups further along Regent’s Canal for drinks and nibbles, before setting them down by the dining
room’s private entrance. Prices are an absolute snip, with three courses and wine starting from £47 per person.
