Get a Bedroom - The Jaguar Suite at 51 Buckingham Gate

If we were to try and convince you that one of the best bedrooms in London was inspired by a car brand, we’d forgive you for not taking us seriously. But banish any thoughts of Ford Mondeo-inspired plastic trims, because this particular suite is based on that icon of British style, the Jaguar. Overseen personally by the firm’s design director Ian Callum, each piece of specially-commissioned artwork is influenced by an aspect of the car, from the pictured teardrop-style fireplace (inspired by the Jag’s rear windows), to an embossed badge collection and E-Type pop art. As well as a top-spec kitchen, there’s a meeting room for eight, a lounge, office and two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The suite costs £5,100 +VAT a night and comes with a chauffeur (driving a Jag, of course), complimentary breakfast, free bar and butler service.
