Get a Bedroom - Casa Hotel, Chesterfield

At Venues & Events we like it when new hotels look to break the mould and go for something different, so when we heard about the new £20m Casa Hotel trying to bring Spanish-tinged design and an Iberian-style food ethos to the heart of Chesterfield, we were only too keen to check it out. All the rooms boast 2x2m Hypnos mattresses (sleeper of choice to the Queen), but the stand-out Picasso Suite has a lot more going for it than just the bedding. As well being set over 46sq m, it also has the most revered facility in any top-end hotel suite: a decadent outdoor hot tub. The bubbles continue in the bathroom, where a Jacuzzi tub is teamed with a TV imbedded into the wall, and a floating remote to match. Back in the bedroom, a 42-inch TV and extra-large desk with views over the hotel’s gardens complete the package.
